Of Derby, NY, Entered into rest November 29, 2017. Beloved husband of 53 years to Linda C. (Castiglia) Wadsworth; loving father of Denise M. (Bob) Haag, of Silver Creek, NY.,  Dennis W. (Beth) Wadsworth of Fertile, MN  and Derek J. (Judi) Wadsworth of Dansville, NY; dearest grandfather of Lyndsay (James) Bartlett, Cortney Nugent, Monica Haag, Alex, Andrew, Brandon, Jacob, Bethany and Dawson Wadsworth; great grandfather of William, Ellayna and Joshua Bartlett, Charlotte and Noah McAnulty; also survived by 3 sisters and many nieces and nephews. Dennis was very active as a Eucharistic Minister and Chaplain Ministry with St. Vincent de Paul Church in North Evans, NY and Most Precious Blood Church in Angola, NY.  He was employed at Moog Inc. in East Aurora, NY for 35 years, served in the US Army from 1964-1966 where he was stationed in Giessen Germany and is a present member of VFW Post 5798 in Angola. Dennis and Linda moved to Derby, NY from South Buffalo on the 4th of July, 1971 where he maintained a faithful relationship with his neighbors and friends. He enjoyed coaching little league baseball through the 70’s and 80’s, was an avid hobby golfer and passionate gardener. Dennis could often be found in his garden on August mornings with no shirt on, a salt shaker in one hand and a ripe tomato in the other.  Family will be present to receive friends Monday, December 4, from 2-4, 7-9 PM at the Addison Funeral Home Inc. 262 N. Main Street, Angola, NY where prayers will be said Tuesday at 9:30 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in Most Precious Blood Church, Angola, NY. Interment services with Military Honors will follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Silver Creek, NY
