Joyce (Tootsie) Tomaka
Of Melbourne, Fl, formerly of Angola, NY, passed into God’s arms on November 11, 2023, she was 88. Joyce was born in Silver Creek, NY to Lena and Norman Lopresto. She graduated from Lake Shore Central High School and later received her associate in business administration from Bryant Statton College in Buffalo. In 1955, she married Paul. Tomaka of Lackawanna, NY She worked in business administration at Bethlehem Steel, Lake Shore Hospital and topped off her career as an Administrative Assistant with Lake Shore Central Schools in Angola. Joyce lived for and loved her family. Her last years were spent in Florida with her children. Beloved wife of the late Paul Tomaka, Loving mother of Norman (Terry) Tomaka and the late Stacy (William) Brauen. Grandmother of Christina and Frankie. Great-Grandmother of Adalynn Tomaka. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, at 12 PM in Most Precious Blood Church, 22 Prospect St., Angola, NY. Interment will follow in nearby Holy Cross Cemetery. Joyce was a member of the Rosary and Altar Society. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Most Precious Blood Church. Arrangements by the ADDISON FUNERAL HOME Inc., Angola, NY.
