Hunter, Larry M.

December 19, 1951 – February 18, 2025

Larry was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather . He passed away unexpectedly on Feb 18th, after a life dedicated to hard work and unwavering love for his family. He was known for his strong work ethic, was a reliable provider and always put the needs of his loved ones first. He will be remembered for his kind heart, Dad jokes, and commitment to the people he loved. Larry touched the lives of many, and always shared his testimonials of his journey with Jesus Christ. Larry will be driving his yellow bus up to the pearly gates, where he will be welcomed by his son Jacob Hunter and loving wife Gail “Chicken” Hunter… who made sure to ask if he brought the Entenmanns’s and a fresh fish filet.

Larry was the husband of the late Gail "Chicken" (nee Hill) Hunter; father of Jason Hunter, Melinda (Shawn) Bull, Carlee (John) Horvatits, Jessie (Jesse) Leighton, Larry II (Kelsey) Hunter, Josh (Myriah)Hunter and the late Jacob Hunter; brother of Kathy (Late James) Smolinski, late David Hunter, Reni (late Edward) Walczyk, Linda (late Jim) Durham, Ken (Gail) Hunter, Diane (George) Lobur, Carol (Ron) Roof,James Hunter, Patricia (Guy) Whalen, Kim (Dale ) Gier and Ruth (James) Spanitz. Also survived by 20 Grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Family will be present to receive friends Thursday and Friday, February 20, 21, 2025 from 1-3 and 6-8 PM at the Addison Funeral Home Inc. 262 N. Main St. Angola, NY where funeral services will be held Saturday February 22, 2025 at 11 AM
