Judith A. Somers Obituary

Somers, Judith A.

Entered into eternal rest Thursday June 19, 2025, surrounded by love in her Angola home, she was 73. Judith had a long and courageous battle with Crohn’s Disease. Time and time again she looked fear, death and God in the face and declared “It’s not my time” With a fierce warrior attitude she fought so hard to be there for her family, for 73 years, it was a miracle in itself.

Judith was the beloved companion of Frederick Carstens. Loving mother of Kelly (Neil) Dommell, Rochelle Lee, Thomas (Jennifer) Somers and the late Tracey (Ray) Jordan. Stepmother of Fred (Carrie) and Chase Carstens. Sister of Ann Borsink, Theresa Pawlak and the late Kathy Kilmer. Grandmother of Tim, Tristan, Kaleigh, Ayden, Zoe, Abby and Ava. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her nephew Robert Charles and niece Kerry Ann Lively

The family will be present for visitation on Wednesday July 2, 2025, from 3PM-7PM at the ADDISON FUNERAL HOME, INC. 262 N. Main St. Angola, NY, where services will follow at 7PM. FLOWERS GRATEFULLY DECLINED, Memorials may be made to Hospice Buffalo, Inc.
