COLVENBACK, Roger A., age 75, of Cassadaga, passed away peacefully at Brooks Memorial Hospital on Sunday, October 15, 2023. He was born November 5, 1947 in Dunkirk, New York; the son of the late Arthur and Rita (Fisher) Colvenback. Roger is survived by his wife of 52 years, Sandra (Gloss) Colvenback; daughter, Tami (Christopher) Warsitz; and granddaughters, Erika (Cory) Knox, Ashlyn (Elliot) Warsitz, and Jordynn (Conner) Warsitz.
Roger graduated from Fredonia High School. He was an employee of the SUNY Fredonia College for many years until his retirement. Roger was a volunteer of the Fredonia Fire Department and the Vanguard Drum and Bugle Corp. He also volunteered in the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office Mounted Division. Roger was a long-time member of the Cherry Creek Sno-goers Snowmobile Club. He thoroughly enjoyed hunting and fishing as he loved the outdoors. Roger enjoyed camping at Woodside Campground with his family as well as geocaching in the local area. Roger was an avid fan of the Buffalo Bills. He will be missed by his dear family.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 20, 2023, at 1:00PM at Burnham Hollow Cemetery, Bard Road, Cassadaga, New York, 14718. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be made at www.addisonfuneralhome.com
