Of Derby, NY, passed away Sunday January 11, 2015, in Lake Shore Hospital, he was 87. Beloved husband of Mary Braun; father of Linda (Russ) Hurtgam; sister of Mary Convery, Alois (Maria) Braun and Yvonne (William) Meldrum . Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Friends may call Wednesday from 1-4PM and 7-9PM at the ADDISON FUNERAL HOME, INC. 262 N. Main St. Angola, NY where services will be held Thursday at 10AM. George was a Korean War Veteran and served as Erie County Vice Commander of the American Legion. He was also a Life time member of the American Legion Post #928, Derby, NY and Evans Township VFW Post # 5798, Angola, NY.
