Joseph J. DeMarie, a prominent Buffalo, NY Jeweler and Watchmaker of over 50 years, passed away Wednesday April 7, 2010, in his Derby, NY, home, after a lengthy illness, he was 84. Loving husband of 62 Yrs. to Loretta A.(Justinger); dear father of Daniel(Patricia) DeMarie,Rita"Dee" (Richard) Cooper, Annette(Randy) Rose-Raab and Nancy(Al)Truver; brother of John(Rosemarie), Michael(Mary Ellen) DeMarie, Sylvia(Charles) Kramer, Marion Snyderman and Joan (Thomas) Graham. Also survived by 7 grand and 9 great grandchildren. Friends may call Friday from 1-3PM and 6-8PM , at the Addison Funeral Home, Inc. 262 N. Main St. Angola, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 10AM, in St. Vincent de Paul Church, N. Evans, NY. PLEASE ASSEMBLE AT CHURCH. Joe was a proud US Army WWII Veteran, serving in Italy. He volunteered as business manager for the Baker Victory Guys and Gals Color Guard and Drill Team, project coordinator of the conversion of St. Vincent's Church to the Monsignor Ennis Center, and for Operation Good Neighbor.
