Szal, Ann I.
Passed away, Wednesday November 23, 2016, at her home in Angola, she was 90. Beloved wife of the late Anthony J. Szal Sr.; Loving mother of Deborah (William) Fulton, Sherry Hawes, Cynthia (Raymond) Gallman and Anthony (Cynthia) Szal Jr.; proud grandmother of 14 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Sister of Jeanette Spencer and Eleanore Byrne; Daughter of the late Stella and John Lerczak, most famously known for Lerczak’s Log Cabin, a tavern in the Town of Evans. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Her greatest joy was the love for her family, and her expertise and fondness for baking will be passed down through her recipes. The family will be present to receive friends on Sunday from 1-3PM and 6-8PM at the ADDISON FUNERAL HOME, INC. 262 N. Main St. Angola. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 10AM in Most Precious Blood Church, Angola. Please assemble at church. Interment will follow in Eden Evergreen Cemetery, Eden, NY.
