Marjorie Lee Zoeller
Marjorie Lee Zoeller, (nee Farley) was born July 17th 1916 in Gowanda, NY, and died on December 18, 2016. Marge was 100 years old. She passed away peacefully in her sleep at Brookdale Senior Living in Marion, Indiana where she lived for the past 7 years near her son. She was loved and well cared for at Brookdale. When she was able she attended Twin City Bible Baptist Church of Marion. Marge was the remaining sibling of eight children (James, Jack, Tom, Robert, Joyce, Mary, & Myrtle) born to George and Lucille Farley of Gowanda, New York. She was married to William H. Zoeller for 45 years. He preceded her in death, February 3, 1986. Marge loved to dance, was an accomplished homemaker known for her quick wit, friendly smile and very competitive with a golf club, bowling ball, and scrabble. She was involved with Eastern Stars and the Congregational church in Angola. She dearly loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Marge lived most of her life on High Street and Lake Street in Angola NY. She eventually moved to Hamburg NY after her husband died, to be closer to her family to be cared for, where she attended the First Baptist Church of Hamburg.
She is survived by her four children, Bonnie Darnell (Alexander) of Fredericksburg, Va., Nancy Zoeller of Cheektowaga, N.Y., Carol Petrillo (Jerry) of Eden, N.Y., and William A. Zoeller (Karen) of Marion, IN. Additionally, she is survived by ten grandchildren, twenty-three great-grandchildren and many nieces/great nieces and nephews/great nephews.
A brief memorial service and interment will be held in the Spring, at a date and time to be announced, in the Forest Avenue Cemetery, Angola, NY.
