Louise Maria DeBoy
Of Derby, New York passed away Monday, April 19, 2010 at the age of 84. Louise was the loving wife of Lester C. DeBoy; mother of Laurie (William) Horn; Grandmother of Barbara (Joel Deets)Horn and Jason Horn; Sister of Rose Vonwrycza, Dorothy Paul, the late Margaret Tschaepe, Marie Wahowski, George, Frank, Edward and Joseph Steger. Louise is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Friends and family are invited to attend memorial services Saturday, April 24, 2010 at 10:00 am in the St. Vincent de Paul Church, North Evans, NY. Interment services will follow in the St. Vincent de Paul Cemetery. Louise was a member of the Altar and Rosary Society, social club and kitchen helper for bingo at St. Vincent de Paul Church, she was also a member of the Democratic committee, was an elections inspector and bingo helper at St. Paul's. Louise was a columnist for the Evans Journal and wrote the weekly "Around The Town" column, besides writing she enjoyed playing bingo, bowling and crocheting.
