I consider Frank a great friend and mentor. He was a great man and taught me a lot about life with what he did, what he showed me and his funny stories. I know he is in a better place but he will be missed.

Frank spent a good part of his life leading Boy Scout Troop 578. He was quite the camper and always took time out of his schedule each summer for the annual canoe trip. I am thankful to have been involved in the troop under his leadership. I certainly have a lot of great memories. At this time, I'm sure he is in a peaceful place finding a crew for his next canoe trip. We'll all miss him dearly. Brian Dyl ASM - Troop 575, Spotsylvania, VA

Dear Edel and Vail Family, My condolences to you all. Memories of Frank, especially 4th grade camp memories, will stay with me, and many others, forever. He will continue to be with so many people through memories of stories and his vast knowledge of the world around us. The walking stick he carved for me will always be treasured. Debbie Dietrich (Maximciuc)
