Joe was our son's baseball coach in Evans for 12U. He was one of those rare people who was immediately likeable and seemed more like an old friend, rather than someone you had just met. He had an infectious, youthful enthusiasm that made it a great year for the players and parents alike. We saw Joe several times since, and he always stopped to say hello, forever with a smile on his face and a kind word. We are heartbroken to learn of his passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with his son and the entire family.

The world has lost a wonderful man but heaven has lovingly received him, and he will be there with open arms when it’s our turn to go home.
I just saw him and he had me laughing like he did in high school. We had so much fun and I’m glad to call him my friend. You could tell by his thoughtful posts how much he loved and valued his family, especially Ryan. I am so sorry for your loss and know he will be terribly missed. Praying that your hearts heal and remain full with his love and his memory.

Sending my thoughts to family and friends of Joe. He was a great guy whom I unfortunately didn’t know all that well through high school, but I picture his friendly, fun smile and many good friends whose circles crossed mine. He was loved by many. Always a positive person. I will remember him fondly and so sorry for your losses.

Sweet Joey #16,
Your passing is such a shock and leaves a hole in my heart. My only comfort is being blessed to have had you as a lifelong friend who really knew how to live, laugh, & love! I will miss laughing till I cried with you! To Ryan who was Joe’s absolute EVERYTHING, you have a constant angel with you and I hope you carry his love with you every day.
RIP my sweet friend.
