She was the meanest teacher i ever had. What she allowed into the class room of 5th graders when Mr Walter's came into the room and smashed down this huge wooden auger with spikes onto my desk, frightens me to this day. The horrible memory of my childhood in that moment was unimaginable. A frightened child. I recall crying I was so scared. I often regret as an adult not contacting her to let her know the impact that had on my memories. She should have protected us and she failed.
