My memory of Joe will always be one of a strong hunter who loved to smile. I don't think there was a time that I ran into Joe and he was not smiling!! or telling a story about hunting or going hunting! My deepest sympathy and love to your family during your time of loss. Love, Denise

We were so sorry to hear about your loss, and we are very sorry that we could not attend the wake or funeral because we were out of town visiting our daughter in NY. We will surely miss seeing your dad take his daily walks and his coffee breaks on our deck. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Joe, I am so sorry for your loss.Your father seemed like a very kind man. Although I did not know him, whenever he was out walking the neighborhood and so was I, he always would stop and say hello and ask how I was doing. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Our deepest condolences on the loss of "Joe", "Joeseppi", or "Pi" as Gail fondly referred to him, a man filled with extended warmth and friendship to those who came to know him. He was so taken back and thankful this past Nov when I stopped in to return a sketch of Indy his family had given to Gail, a much cherished gift. I returned Indy and his ashes "home", as Joe was sentimental and had requested if it were ever possible he would like it back. Tearful and stunned he was beyond appreciative. This small gesture meant so much to him and he was bounding with happiness. He spoke proudly taking time to show me all the updated photos he had of his grandchildren, and children telling me the stories behind them. He was beaming with love in sharing how proud and blessed he felt surrounding his family. I was happy to learn that he was able to renew his passion and resume hunting. Although he faced challenges over the past five years, he never gave up on his faith and determination to regain his strength and carry on. I am so happy he was able to fulfill more of his desires. I am eternally grateful for his continued friendship and consistent support with my sister Gail. Gail will deeply miss him and his friendship of daily calling and providing her with encouraging words. God bless Ronnie, Patty, Karen, Terri, Joey, Charlotte, all the remaining family members during their time of great personal loss. May each take comfort in knowing that he and your memories lives on within each of you. I also miss my friend Joeseppi, but his memory is cherished. With deepest sympathy, Luanne Paolini and Gail Thee.

I understand that this is a great loss for all of us and I am deeply sorry that I will be unable to make it out due to distance/transportation complications. Words do an injustice in explaining how much we will miss him, he will always remain very alive in our hearts. You will all be in my thoughts and prayers. Love always, Katie
