Marilyn was one of the dearest friends I have ever had. She volunteered when I worked for the American diabetes Association. She had the greatest work ethic and was such a loyal friend. Because of her hard work as a volunteer, I was able to work part time and be home with my daughters when they were babies. She was like a second mother to me.
