Wendy, Brenda and families - So sorry for your tremendous loss. Loved Lee. He was a hoot! When he was advertising his taxi service he often came in the pennysaver and had all the girls working there laughing. I had such fun chatting with him always! Will definitely miss him. My prayers are with you. He is now at peace. Rhonda

It’s the end of an era. Lee Weber and Christ Pappas were not just friends, they were brothers. Born 12 days apart, they met at 14 years old when Christ’s father purchased the farm across the street from Lee’s grandparents farm on Route 5. What stories they had to tell; from reckless teenage antics, National Guard service, and years of ice fishing. They shared all of the good times and the rough patches that life presented, supporting each other through it all.
Lee was best man at our wedding and will always be Uncle Lee to our two sons.
“Web” was always a part of our family celebrations and holidays. Countless hours were spent every morning drinking Lee’s terrible coffee, hashing over politics, town gossip, and reminiscing.
As a longtime small business owner; be it the gas station, the Angola Taxi, his mechanic shop located in the garage at his house and ultimately the bait store, Lee will be long remembered as a legend in town.
My deepest sympathy to Wendy and Brenda. Your devotion to your father, especially during his later years, was truly heartwarming. Your father may not have shown it to you, but he always made mention of how much he appreciated your companionship and help.
So here we are, one year and almost two months later, Lee and Christ are back together. In heaven and appropriately enough, adjoining plots at Forest Lawn.
Farewell my good friend, you will be missed.

As a child, I always looked forward to stopping by Mr. Webers bait shop. It was never a quick trip down the road… We would always get caught up talking about fishing or some of his great memories with my Grandpa.
Mr. Weber sold me my first boat when I was 12 year old. He always made sure to remind me to tell everyone where I got my minnows from. Till we meet again ❤️

Today I feel like I lost a brother. We had been friends for 65 years. Gallons of coffee and many stories of Christ, Bruce and Lee's fishing and hunting adventures. I certainly will miss you dear friend. See you on the other side....
