Oakley R. Phillips "Oak", of Angola on the Lake, formerly of Hamburg, NY, died Monday April 4, 2011 in the Erie County Medical Center, he was 65. Loving father of Scott O.(Cathleen Johnson)Phillips and Jeffrey G.(Bonnie Watts) Phillips; son of the late Oakley S. Phillips and Ruth H.(Jelinski)O'Conner; brother of William J. and Laura G. Phillips. Loving pappa of Scott Jr.,Bryce,Cheyene,Grace Phillips,Tory and Abigail Johnson. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Friends may call Tuesday from 7-9PM and Wednesday from 2-4PM and 7-8PM at the ADDISON FUNERAL HOME, INC. 262 N. Main St. Angola, NY where services will follow at 8:15PM. Oak was a 1963 Graduate of Hamburg High School. He was president of Defensive Systems Inc. Former president of Evans Youth Baseballs Babe Ruth League, and a member of the Sylvan Park Property Assoc.
