Of Angola, NY, April 21, 2011, Age 81, Beloved Husband of Dorothy A.(Smith) Haberer; Dearest father of William A.(Laura), Albert M. Jr (Marguerite), Ronald J. (Jeanette)Haberer Mary Ellen (Joseph) Chirico and Joanne F. Haberer; loving grandfather of Glenn N. Jr., James, David, Cassandra, Alexa, Kendal, Sarah and Jared. Great grandfather of 7; Brother of William (Late Judith) Haberer and the late Anna Galvin, Mary Jane (Ray) Goutowski and Rosella (Corky) Deland. Friends may call Monday from 7-9 PM and Tuesday 2-4PM and 7-9PM at the Addison Funeral Home Inc. 262 Main St. Angola,NY. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11:00 AM in the First Church of Evans, Derby, NY. Interment services will follow in Lakeside Memorial Park, Hamburg, NY. Memorials may be made to the First Church of Evans Building Fund. Mr. Haberer served the Angola and Town of Evans communities for 55 years as proprietor of Al's Mobil Service Station on the intersection of Main Street and Orchard Avenue in Angola, he also acted as a service agent for AAA Automobile Club for 50 of his 55 years in business. He was an Army veteran during the Korean War era and was a 50 year member of the American Legion Post 928. As a hobby Al enjoyed raising beef cattle on his Angola farm.
