John Hughes Moreton, of Derby, NY died Sunday November 23, 2008 in the Emerald Unit at Lake Shore Hospital, Irving, he was 76. Beloved wife of Maryann (Slowinski) Moreton; loving father of Sally(Joe Zitnik) Opie, Kathy, David Moreton and Laurie (James) Gebbia; grandfather of Jennifer (Brian) Urbanski, Lindsey (Josh Morgan) Opie, Sarah (Zach Daily) Opie and Kasey Zitnik; greatgrand father of Lennon Hughes Morgan. Dear friend of Ted Opie and Tom Gambino. Friends may call Monday from 6-7PM at the ADDISON FUNERAL HOME, where funeral services will follow at 7PM. Father James Fliss Officiating. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Roswell Park Cancer Institute.
