Alfred H. Dickinson,III died Sunday November 6, 2011 in his Derby home. Beloved husband of Karlyn A. (Eberhardt). Son of the late Alfred H.(Louise)Dickinson. Loving father of Nancy Franklin,Gary Dickinson,Wendy Barber,Jeffrey and Thomas Dickinson. Former husband of the late Mathilde Dickinson;brother of the late Mary Louise Engelhart,Suzanne Seavey and Cora Becker. Also survived by 19 grand and 17 great grandchildren. Mr. Dickinson was the great grandson of Elizabeth and Thomas Dickinson who founded the renown T & E Dickinson Jewelry Company in 1849. He followed the family line of Business until the late 1970's when he closed shop and retired. Private graveside services will be held on the family plot at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Buffalo, NY. Memorilas may be made to either the SPCA or Hospice Buffalo, Inc.
