Widger, Rita, A. (nee Gehen)
Of Hamburg, NY, died Tuesday February 7, 2012, in Roswell Park Cancer Institute, she was 69. Beloved wife of Boyd Widger. Loving mother of Dr. Kari (Chris) Bovenzi and Jim (Carol) Widger. Daughter of the late Joseph (Rita) Gehen. Sister of the late JoAnne Flowers, Mary Burnsworth and Joseph Gehen. Grandmother of Jimmy Jr., Abby Widger, Elivia Bovenzi, Charlotte (Alex) Skiff and Elijah Bovenzi. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Special thanks to aunt Irene, and moms dear friends Ellen Rychlik and Nadia Elodi. Friends may call Friday from 2-7PM at the ADDISON FUNERAL HOME, INC. 262 N. MAIN ST. Angola, NY, where prayers will be held Saturday at 9:15AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10AM in Blessed John Paul II Church, Lakeview, NY. Rita was a Certified Nursing Assistant at Elderwood Health Care Center. She was chosen the "2006 C.N.A. of the Year Award" for the entire east coast. Share your condolences at addisonfuneral home.com
