Dorothy A. Spittler (nee Keller)of Lakeview, NY, died Wednesday December 3, 2008 in Autumn View Health Care Center, Hamburg, NY, she was 97. Wife of the late Charles Spittler Sr.; loving mother of Betty N. Blakely and the late Charles "Bud" Spittler Jr; cherished grandmother of Cynthia Hint, Candace Kaiser, Kevin Blakely, Robin Mancuso, Jill Jewett, Renee Spittler, Beth Marie Spittler and the late John A. Spittler; sister -in-law of Donald "Duke" Spittler. Also survived by 11 great-grandchildren many nieces and nephews. Friends may call Sunday from 2-9PM at the ADDISON FUNERAL HOME, INC. 262 N. Main St. Angola, NY. Funeral services will be held Monday at 11:00AM in the Hamburg Wesleyan Church, S. 4999 Mckinley Pkwy. Hamburg, NY. Dorothy was a member of the LakeView First Congregational United church of Christ, Angola Chapter #184 O.E.S. , LakeView VFD Ladies Auxillary, LakeView Home Bureau and Hamburg A.A.R.P. Flowers greatfully declined, memorials may be made to the Lake View VFD Benevolent Fund, the City Mission or Roswell Park Cancer Institute. Interment will be in the Eden Evergreen Cemetery, Eden, New York.
