Jay B. Murphy, of Angola, NY, died suddenly Saturday, October 10, 2009 of injuries suffered from being struck by a hit and run driver, he was 51. Loving husband of Carrie Murphy (nee Jacak); son of Evelyn Murphy-Scherff and the late James Murphy and Ray Scherff. Dearest father of Jay Murphy Jr., Jamie Murphy, Brian (Cheryl)Hernandez and Timothy Hernandez. Brother of Clifford (Betsy) Murphy, Eileen Murphy, the late Diane Cosenza and Janet Joseph. Step-Brother of Lynn McNeal. Grandfather of Brianna, Ben and Jack. Friends may call Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9PM at the ADDISON FUNERAL HOME, where funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10AM. Pastor Jack Bacon officiating.
