Sally J. Serena (nee Smith), of Angola, NY, passed away Friday June 1, 2012, and is at peace, after a courageous battle with cancer, she was 81. Beloved wife of the late Glen Serena. Loving mother of Debora (Donald) Waddell, Sharon (Donald) Gnann and Bruce (Brenda) Serena. Sister of Julius Smith, Nancy Held, Dorothy Haberer, Frances Smith, Charles Smith, Carol Barr and the late Norman Smith, Betty Johnson, Ruth Mayer, Richard Smith, Kenneth Smith, Doris "Judy" Haberer and Christopher Smith. Grandmother of Natalie (Michael) Rutter, Sarah (Timothy) Greger, Laura (Daniel) Duhan, Karl (Karen) Gnann, Katherine(Paul) Houck, Robert Waddell, Benjamin Serena and Molly Serena. Also survived by 11 great grand children. Friends may call Monday JUNE 11, 2012, from 2-4PM and 7-9PM at the ADDISON FUNERAL HOME, INC. 262 N. Main St. Angola, NY where services will be held on Tuesday, JUNE 12, at 10AM. Pastor Steve Ridge Officiating. Interment will follow in Lakeside Cemetery, Hamburg, NY. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice Buffalo, Inc.
