Charles E. Otto Sr. Of Lake View, NY entered into rest July 5, 2012 at the age of 75, Beloved husband of Michele (Pfeffer); loving father of Charles Jr. and Dawn (Michael) Frew; brother of Shirley Birch and late Roy Otto; cherished Papa of Samantha, Shelby and Madison; also survived by nieces and nephews. Prior to his retirement Charles worked as a meter reader for Wanakah Water then moved to Erie County Water Authority where he worked as a Pump Operator. He was a certified NRA Instructor and taught gun safety and pistol permit courses for many years, including courses through the Frontier Central Community Education Program. Charles was also a former volunteer fireman with the Lake View Volunteer Fire Department, receiving exempt status. In retirement he enjoyed competitive target practice, traveling, camping, enjoying his RV, spending time with family and his beloved dogs Ashley, Taffy and Crystal. Mr. Otto was a member of the First Spiritualist Temple of East Aurora where he served as a medium and healer. Friends may call Tuesday from 4 - 8 PM at the Addison Funeral Home Inc. 262 N. Main St. Angola where funeral services will follow visitation at 8 PM. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice Buffalo Inc. Condolences at addisonfuneralhome.com.
