Jeanette George, formerly of Tampa, Florida, passed away unexpectedly, Sunday December 23, 2012, in Queens, NY, she was 36. Beloved daughter of Joseph(Beverly) George of Derby, NY. Loving sister of Melinda (Ruben) Clark of Mount Vernon, Ohio, and Brent George of Orlando, Florida. Granddaughter of Edna Peach of Murphy, NC and Kenneth (late Betty) George of Shippensville, PA. Aunt of Nathaniel and Mariah Clark. Niece of Don (late Judy) George of Clarence, NY, Linda (Mike) Burkhardt of Clarence, NY, Edward (Tina) Parker of Seattle, WA. Judy (Kermit) Mcgary of Indiana,late Nancy (Bob) Simonson and Brian Parker. Also survived by many cousins.
Born in Lockport, NY, Jeanette was a graduate of Tennessee Temple University and Word of Life Bible Institute. She was a child care worker at Idlewild Baptist Church in Tampa Florida. She had a special gift for working with small children. She also was a strong Christian, sharing Jesus, with everyone she knew.
Friends may call Saturday, January 5, 2013 from 1PM - 3PM at the ADDISON FUNERAL HOME, INC. 262 N. Main St. Angola, NY, where funeral services will follow visitation at 3PM. Pastor Art Kohl officiating. Interment will be in Alcola Cemetery, New Bethlehem, PA.
