Of Angola, NY, Entered into rest August 27, 2013 at the age of 87. Husband of 67 years to the late Virginia (Overdorf) Place ; father of Lana (Michael)Rizzuto, Nina (late Charles) Jagou, Linda Capitano, Larry (Trish) Place, Gregory (Catherine) Place and Robert (Janice) Place; brother of Laura Ellen (late John) Bell; uncle of Joann (late Vance)Olsen; grandfather of 21 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren; dear friend of Bill and Ruth Van Remmen. Oliver was a US Navy Veteran and enjoyed bowling and golf into his 80's. Services will held at a time to be announced.
