Gerred J. Snyder, passed away in his Angola, NY home on Monday, February 10, 2014, he was 90. Beloved husband of the late Margaret M. Snyder. Loving father of Connie (Anthony) Pingitore and Gary (Christine) Snyder. Brother of George Snyder. Also survived by 7 grand, 18 great grand and 2 great great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. Friends may call Friday from 1-3PM and 6-8PM at the ADDISON FUNERAL HOME, INC. 262 N. Main St. Angola, NY. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 AM in St. John's Lutheran Church, Gold St. Angola. Interment with Military Honors will follow in Forest Avenue Cemetery. Flowers gratefully declined, memorials may be made to either Hospice Buffalo or St. John's Lutheran Church.
Mr. Snyder served under US Army General, George Patton in WWII. He was awarded an EAMET Campaign Medal with 5 Bronze Stars and a Purple Heart after serving in Normandy, Northern France, Rhineland, Ardennes and Central Europe.
