George and I have a common thread. The night George passed at 10:48 PM a spirit awoke me and appeared in the doorway of my room and I felt that something bad had just happened. Not knowing what the message was I made a mental note of the day and time. The following Friday when I contacted Debra she told me that her father had died the very night I was contacted by the spirit. I want to pass this information along to the family members that it might give them some comfort that there is in fact life after death. I understand that there will be a service held honoring his life in the near future. I feel compelled to visit his grave site as I have no idea why he chose to pass by me on his final journey. To Rena, Michael, Debra, Justin, Ashley and all of the other members of your family I have been truly blessed to know all of you and wish you all the best in these troubled times.

Rena, I offer to you and your family my deepest condolences. Although many years have passed since we last spoke, my love for you and George was never compromised. I recall the welcoming of your home and the feeling of family that you brought into my life. George was more of a father to me, you and the children were precious jewels. My heart still lingers in the Pennsylvania mountains. It was wonderful working with George on the paper delivery route and at the Fisherman's restaurant in Angola. I remember the tree I painted in the corner of your home in Wanakah. George was instrumental in my journey into manhood. Hopefully you and your family are soon able to move past the grieving and into the place where fond memories offer lasting comfort. You and George will forever be in my thoughts. Much love always, Russ Cleversley

Chris and I enjoyed many fun filled evenings bowing with George and Rena. Lots of laughs, a few drinks and once in awhile a good game. Didn't matter about the score or who were the league champs, it was the friendships that kept us coming back. Keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers.
