Dear Jan, Kathy, Karen, and Family Members, How sorry I was to hear from David that you lost your Mom on Friday. She was always energetic, intelligent, and interested in all that life has to offer. I have many fond memories of her laughter and participation in the family gatherings of our childhoods. Her delicious meals and picnic offerings were devoured with enthusiasm, and both she and your dad could carry on a conversation with just about anybody for mutual enjoyment. How fortunate that she was with you for many years and was able to treasure her grandkids and great grandkids. My condolences to you and your families as you adjust to life without your mom. No matter how much we try to prepare ourselves for losing loved ones, it's still a difficult, lingering shock. As you cope, I do hope that your abundant good memories will remain with you forever.
