David B. Burke, of Derby, NY, passed away Saturday May 3, 2014 in Terrace View Manor at ECMC, he was 69. Loving father of David (Jennifer) Burke Jr., Gary Mosier, Shawn Burke and Kara Burke. Brother of Lena DeGroat, James, Frances, Nina, Marie and the late Richard, Charles, Carl, Paul and Edward. Also survived by 13 grand and 2 great grandchildren. Friends may call Tuesday from 1PM - 8PM at the ADDISON FUNERAL HOME, INC. 262 N. Main St. Angola, NY, where prayers will be held Wednesday at 9:15 AM followed by a Celebration of Life service at 10 AM in the First Church of Evans. (Rt. 5 at Sturgeon Point Rd.) David was a Navy Veteran and retired as a Town of Evans Police Officer, serving the community for over 33 years. He was the Past President of the EVANS PBA, served on the Evans Christmas Project for 25 years, member of the Angola Moose, Evans Jaycees and the Sturgeon Point Sportsmans Club. Interment will follow in the First Church of Evans Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to "In care of David Burke". Share your condolences at addisonfuneralhome.com
