Robert J. Warsitz, of Angola, NY died Wednesday November 25, 2009 in the Center for Hospice and Palliative Care, he was 88. Loving husband of Isabell "Betty" Murawski-Warsitz and the late Patricia Clark - Warsitz. Father of LindaJ. (John) Compisi, Robert C. (Kathy) Warsitz. Step father of Carlene( Bruce Bingenheimer) Murawski, Henry "Bub"(Susan) Murawski, Miriam(Thomas) Alf and the late Mathew Murawski. Brother of Paul Warsitz and the late Marie Warsitz-Wehrfritz and a brother-in-law, John Wehrfritz. Also survived by 15 grand and 21 great grandchildren. Friends may call Thursday and Friday from 2-4 and 7-9pm at The Addison Funeral Home, Inc. 262 N. Main St. Angola, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated on Saturday at 10AM in Most Precious Blood Church, Angola, NY. Mr. Warsitz was a member of American Legion Newcomb Long Post 928, Derby, NY. He was an active member of the Lake Erie Beach Volunteer Fire Company since 1969. Bob held the position of House Officer for over 10 years, and President of the Fire Company from 1982-1986. He was also very active in other Firematic Association's, including Angola Fire Control Fire Police Association, Erie County Volunteer Firemens Assoc., Erie County Fire Police Assoc., Life member of the Southwestern Assoc. of Volunteer Firemen, and the Firemens Assoc. of the State of New York. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Angola, NY.
