I'm so sad to hear of the passing of one of our great WNY warriors. Louie has been a cornerstone in the military brotherhood for so many years: first as a military member, then as an advocate for the military members of WNY. I am proud to have flown with Lou and his son, Lou. Both achieved the highest military rank, but beyond that, the admiration of those who knew him. He will be missed, but always remembered.

I was privileged to fly with Lou for many years before he retired. His humor and easy nature made him a favorite among our crewmembers. Lou's committment to the military men and women of WNY will not be forgotten. My condolences go out to all his family. He will certainly be missed, but will always be remembered.

Sincere condolences to Hank and the rest of the Palma family. When talk goes to the " greatest generation" my best stories are of Louie' s exploits. They are always well received. I feel honored to say I flew with Louie Palma.
