Joan Edith Fruck (nee Weinheimer) Long time resident of Hamburg, NY passed away peacefully Sunday, August 17, 2014 at the age of 85. Loving Mother of Lynn Diviak of Frederick, MD and Frederick (Karen) Fruck Jr. of Virginia Beach, VA.; Sister of June Rusten and Lester (Virginia) Weinheimer Jr.; Grandmother of Brandon (Erin) Diviak, Kim (Steve) Martin, Craig(Brian) Diviak, Frederick (Angela) Fruck and Michal Fruck also survived by nine great grand children and life - long companion of over 40 years, Eugene Chilcott. Joan is predeceased by her husband Frederick Fruck and two sisters Josephine(Albert) Scheidel and Joyce Kelly. Joan worked in the accounting office at Bethlehem Steel for 20 years. In her retirement she and Gene enjoyed extensive travel throughout the United States, meeting wonderful people throughout the world. Her love and humor brought great joy to all of her family and friends. In accordance with Joan's wishes a celebration of life service will be held Saturday, August 23 at 3PM in the Addison Funeral Home Inc. 262 Main Street, Angola, NY. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to THE HOSPICE FOUNDATION OF WNY Inc. , PO BOX 590, Buffalo, NY 14240. Condolences may be left on line at addisonfuneralhome.com
