Ruth A. Felong (nee Anderson), died Thursday January 21, 2010 in her Angola home, she was 82. Beloved wife of the late John J. Felong;,Born in Warren, PA to Augusta and Clarence Anderson; loving mother of Roxanna Bulger of Lockport, NY and Andy (Claire) Felong of Red Wood City, CA. Grandmother of Roger Cook Jr., Russell(Beth), Robert Bulger, Patrick and Katie Felong. Great grandmother of Allysa, Megan, Russell and Morgan Bulger. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Friends may call Wednesday from 7-9PM and Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9PM at the Addison Funeral Home, Inc. 262 N. Main St. Angola, where prayers will be held Friday at 9:15AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00AM in Most Precious Blood Church, Angola, NY. After her studies in Buffalo at the Albright Art School, she worked as a copy artist at the Jamestown Post Journal, then a decorative painter at the Jamestown Furniture Company, before applying & teaching her artistic skills for the enjoyment of family and friends. Ruth was a Charter member of the Evans Home Bureau, a member of Most Precious Blood Rosary and Altar Society, a member of the American Legion Newcomb Long Post 928, Ladies Auxillary(Past Chaplain), Ladies of Charity, an avid painter and a voracious reader who had a sharp wit, enjoyed cards, bingo and travel. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Angola, NY.
