Jeannette S. Catalano (nee Lanser) , 92, died Monday April 28, 2008 after a short illness, �in her Derby home.�� Loving wife of the late Mariano J. "Babe" Catalano Jr. �Mother of Robert M. Catalano and Judy (Joseph) Kromer.� Sister of Adella �Cook of Vero Beach, Fl. .� Grandmother of Christopher �Catalano, Kimberley Catalano-Pike, Elizabeth Heyden, Jennifer Harris, �Matthew and Michael Kromer. Also survived by 14 great grand children. �A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated on Saturday, May 17, 2008 at 10:00AM in St. Vincent de Paul Church, N. Evans, New York.� Jeannnette was� one of� the first female PostMasters, appointed by Franklin D. Roosevelt in 1943. She served as� the Derby PostMaster�� for� 34 Years.� In liu of flowers memorials may be made to either, Hospice Buffalo, Inc. or the SPCA.�
