We are so sorry to hear of her passing. Our daughter had her a few years back and our son had her for a short time before she was out. She was a wonderful lady and a great teacher. She will missed greatly. god has taken her home and ended her suffering. We know she is at peace now. Lisa Durrance ( highland parent and former student)

Marilyn,Janice ,Ron, and family, I was saddened to hear of Rita's passing. She was a childhood neighbor, friend and fellow colleague that I admired greatly. Her perseverance to do what her heart stated was unbeatable. Her faith was steadfast only matched by her caring for others. I know you will use that faith to get yourselves through this difficult time and to realize the true peace that Rita finally has with her Lord. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. Love, Gene

We are mourning with you. A verse that has brought me comfort is Deuteronomy 33:27 "The eternal God is your refuge; and His everlasting arms are under you." We are praying for each of you and know our Father is holding you in His arms.

Miss Vrooman was the BEST TEACHER EVER!!! Her stories took us places we'll never get to go. She was just amazing. Her strong will and faith in God will stay with me forever. The service was a wonderful tribute to her. I am a much better person for having had her, as a teacher and a friend! She was the srongest person I have ever known. I will never forget her!!
