Francis "Bruce" Shannon, 55, of Port St. John, FL. formerly of Angola, NY, passed away on Friday February 12, 2010, after a short illness. Bruce is survived by his wife, Joan Shannon; son , Richard(Amber) Shannon: brother of James E. (Debby) Shannon III, Robert C. (Shirley) Shannon and Jeffrey P. (Cheryl) Shannon. Son-in-law of Elaine G. Johnson; brother-in-law of Sandra (Fred) Abbey. Predeceased by his parents, James E.(Eleanor E.) Shannon, brother Richard O'Neil Shannon, and father-in-law, Phillip E. Johnson. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 17th from 9:30-10:30 a.m. with a Mass of immediately following at the Blessed Sacrament Church (Sharpes), 5135 N. US 1, Cocoa, FL 32927. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Blessed Sacrament Building Fund. Arrangements entrusted to Funeral Solutions.
