Richard Paul Weppner, of Hamburg, NY, died Monday February 9, 2009 in Sisters of Charity Hospital, Buffalo, NY, he was 75. Cherished and treasured husband of 53 years to Shelia Rochna; loving father of Rebecca (Bill) Weppner and Andrew (Sheryl) Weppner;Son of George and Delores Weppner; brother of Mary Lou (George) werner, Dorothy (Marty) Herbst and the late Pat (Walter) Bialy and James (Alice) Weppner; grandfather of Stephen, Andrew, Matthew and Joseph. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Friends may call Tuesday from 7-9PM and Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9PM at the Addison Funeral Home. A Mass of Christain Burial will be held Thursday at 10AM in St. Francis of Assisi Church, Athol Springs. Please Assemble at Church.
Richard was an Eucharistic Minister often doing In-Hospital Ministry to the sick, and participated in many funeral Ministries with church, where he was a dailey Acolyte. He was the Past President and Vice President of the Holy Name Society, recieving a District Award, Ambassador of Mary. He was a catholic charities worker member of Blue Army, and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Richard was a Veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was a faithfull servant of Jesus christ for 75 years, and he accepted God's Will with Smiling Accord.
Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Angola, New York.
