Joseph T. Crimi, of Angola, NY, died Friday February 27, 2009 in the Center for Hospice and Palliative Care, from Pancreatiic cancer, he was 64. Beloved husband of Amelia(Nee Parker); loving father of Christopher (Major, USMC) of Kailua, HI, Anna of San Diego, CA and Joseph of Buffalo, NY; Son of the late Joseph(Liuetenant, US Army Air Corps.) (Anna) Crimi; step-son of the late Gasper(Pat)Mendola. Brother of Michael(Nancy) , Robert(Tina) Mendola, Dianne (William)Halt, Mary (Jack) Gaul and Patricia (John) Stefanou. Nephew of Connie (Charles) LiPuma; godfather of Dana Carelli(nee Mendola) of Milan, MI and Alex Schmidt of Cohasset, MA. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Dear friend of Chuck Caserta and Gary Rocco of New York City. Friends may call Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9PM at the Addison Funeral Home, Inc. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated on Wednesday at 10AM in Blessed Sacrement Church, 1035 Delaware Ave. Buffalo, NY(Near W. Utica). Please Assemble at Church. During Joseph's 40 Year Film industry career, he worked for Warner Brothers,General Cinema, Paramount Pictures, Twentieth Century Fox and Retired after 27 Years with Universal Pictures. He was also active in the Variety Club of Buffalo Tent 7, becoming the Chief Barker before moving to Massachussettes in 1987. Interment will be in Elmlawn Cemetery, Kenmore, New York.
