It was a privilege to care for this quirky, kindhearted, sweet man. I will miss him with all of my heart. Harold once painted me a colorful landscape of a tree lined path. He asked me to come into his room and said "Pa painted you a picture. I want you to have it!" On the back he wrote: "As I walk along life's path, I found a friend in you. May you walk with sunlight shinning and blue birds in every tree. May life bring you love and happiness everyday." Papa, I found a friend in you too. Thank you for being the papa I never knew and thank you for giving me the chance to learn from you and love you. God bless you my friend and may you rest easy. My condolences to the family. May your hearts be mended knowing he is in the kingdom of God with his beautiful bride.
