My sympathy to Miss Paterson's Family. Miss Paterson was my 3rd and 4th grade teacher at the Jerusalem Corners School. Her enthusiasm for teaching was probably what made me become a teacher and strive to be as good as she was. Some of my memories of that by-gone time are hikes in nearby woods and creeks, playing softball during recess(She could really hit] and receiving a Bible at Christmas.I still have it. I also have the class picture of the 1949-1950 class. During the past few years I would sometimes see her at brunch after church and she always recalled those days at JCS. I will miss her.
