Alene G. Hilton
Of Angola, NY peacefully entered into rest in her Angola home, November 29, 2015. Alene was born in Port Allegany, PA on March 23, 1919 to Fred O. Gustafson and Ella A. Nelson. She was a 1937 graduate of Port Allegany High School and married her husband Eugene F. Hilton June 20, 1956. Alene is survived by her husband Eugene, brother Howard Gustafson of Port Allegany,PA, niece Nancy L. Nelson, nephews Jerry Goodnoe, James Gustafson, William Gustafson and Mark Gustafson, stepdaughters Cynthia Ryan, Lois and Rebecca Hilton, six grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She is pre deceased by one brother and four sisters. Alene was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Farnham, NY were she was active with the choir, Mary Martha Circle and Treasurer of the Memorial Fund. Her hobbies included reading, crocheting, gardening and crossword puzzles. Family will be present to receive friends Friday, December 4, 2015 from 2-4, 7-9 PM at the Addison Funeral Home Inc. 262 N. Main Street, Angola, NY. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 5, 2015 at 11 AM in the Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Farnham, NY
