Ron worked tirelessly on LIFE magazine with me for years. We spent many long and late hours together doing color corrections in the Time-LIfe Building, at G.S Lithographers, in Carlstedt, NJ and traveled to Lancaster, PA (our favorite as we had the thrill of gravure printing AND we got to go to auctions) and then Stillwater, OK. Ron was truly one of the nicest, calmest, most sincere guys I have ever known, that I was lucky enough to have as a mentor and friend. He taught me everything I know about color correction and printing. We were a good team, always trying to make the photos in LIFE magazine look their absolute best, even on tight deadlines.

I am so sorry to hear of Ron's passing. I had not spoken to him for some time. He was a member of the Hudson Valley Art Association and National Sculpture Society. We discussed all things related to art and sculpture. He was a great man and a great sculptor. My sincere condolences to his family and close friends. Hudson Valley Art Association would like to show one of his sculptures in our exhibition in 2017. If you are interested please contact me and when we have plans set for the show next year I will let you know.
Thank You.
