Dear Penny and children, I am so sad to hear about John. I know he struggled valiantly with his illness and from afar, thru other family, and even my mom - I could envision his bright shining star and know and feel your devotion to him. Am sure my mom is visiting him and guiding him along with Aunt Jean, Uncle Herman, Angelo, Rosemarie, Chet and the rest of the family. He was always a favorite cousin along with his brother, Dan. I have many fond memories of us as kids on the west side; getting into mischief on the farm, and all of the picnics in Angola each year. Mom loved talking to him around his birthdays and always kept me updated. My prayers are with you. He will always be in your hearts as well as mine.
