Dear Judy, Steve and Sandy - My deepest sympathy to each of you. Seeing this brought back a flood of memories of our childhood - our playing school and house in our garages, endless rollerskating, your back-yard pool ( did Jackie, Judy, Susie R. and I really all fit in that pool?), sitting on Mr. Stein's porch. It was a wonderful time that lasted into a lifetime friendship - unfairly a lifetime cut short. I will keep each of you in my prayers - Jackie is safe now and at peace.

Roger, You and your family are in my prayers. I cannot express how truly sad I am right now. We all called her "Ma Tucker" for a reason. She was an inspiration to all of us. I last seen her 2 years ago when my sister passed unexpectedly and I was going through chemo myself. What a warm feeling to just to have her there. She was my Algebra teacher, softballl coach, friend and most importantly my idol. She touched so many lives in so many ways. She will always have a place my heart. May her wonderful memories get you and your family through this difficult time.

Jackie and I became friends when we were working on our Master's Degrees at Canisus. I was so shocked to hear of her illness and passing. We became instant friends and shared quite a few good laughs (and more than a few drinks). Her smile made you feel warm and welcomed no matter what the circmstances. She was a real trooper, dedicated to her profession and the epitome of the term "lady". I was blessed to know her. RIP Jackie.

Jackie was a big part of our close-knit group of friends when we lived in Buffalo and East Aurora until the early 90's. Although we have not seen Jackie in many years, mostly because of our current home in Panama, we remember her as a warm, energetic friend. We are deeply saddened and had hoped to reconnect when we come back to the States this year.

I meet Jackie when I became friends with her sister Judy in middle school. She was a friend of my sister Kathie. My Dad was single with six kids and her Mom had four kids. What a great idea we had for them to get married. What a blast we had in the big house on Two Mile Creek. We all have memories of those times and they are what will get us through. We will miss you. I want to thank you for making me a better and stronger person. RIP Jackie

Roger and Family, I was saddened to hear of Jackie's death Saturday morning. When I went outside the sky was bright blue, just like her eyes; and the sun was shining bright, just like her smile and personality! She spoke of her family, especially her Grandchildren, often and with great LOVE and passion! Jackie will most definitely be missed but I know she is no longer in any pain and will watch over ALL of us now just as she did when she was alive. Good Bye for now Boss, til we meet again!

Dearest family and friends of Jackie.... I am sorry to hear of Jackie's passing. I remember her fondly as my first principal in Buffalo. Her mentorship and professionalism have always been an inspiration for me to continue to do the best that I can in my endeavors to be a good teacher. Her humanistic qualities are often hard to find in an administrator; however, Jackie was truly a great teacher for all of us to model and she promoted successes for all of us - teachers and students. She was a grand lady, one to surely be remembered by many with wonderful sentiments. Thank you for all the work you did and all the energy and skills you provided for so many! Kathy ox

I had the distinct honor to be Jackie's clerk at Lafayette High School for 4 years. I knew in an instant that when she came to Lafayette, that this was going to be "good" for all of us. Jackie was simply the Best. Every day was handled with care and every detail was always of upmost importance. She made everyone welcome, she made us all feel important and was always there for us, even after she went to work at City Hall, she continued to hold Lafayette dear to her heart. What a beautiful tribute I attended today for a beautiful woman. She will be missed, but never forgotten.....love you Jackie. Roger and family, I am so sorry for your loss. Thank you for sharing her....
