Vance C. Olson, of Angola, NY, passed away Monday, May 14, 2012 in Buffalo Mercy Hospital, he was 68. Beloved husband of Joann (Bell) Olson. Loving father of Jodi (Gary) Pudlewski, Lisa Olson and Penny Olson. Brother of Marilyn (Jerry) Bell, Ronald (Elly) Olson, Sharon (Tom) Borowski and the late David Olson. Grandfather of Cody, Brandon Pudlewski and Skylar Olson Rutter. Son-in-law of Laura and John Bell. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Friends may call Thursday from 4-8 PM at the ADDISON FUNERAL HOME, INC. 262 N. Main St. Angola, where funeral services will follow visitation at 8PM. Pastor Jerry Bell, Officiating.
Vance was a life long resident of Angola / Derby, NY. In May of 1967 he opened Olson Bros. Marine, in Derby, NY, with his 2 brothers, Ron and David. Today Olson Bros. is operated by his son-in-law, Gary Pudlewski, and daughter Lisa Olson.
Vance was a member of the Marine Trades Assoc. of WNY and the Angola Moose Lodge 1614.
