Frederick Backert Sr. of Angola, NY, passed away unexpectedley, Monday May 28, 2012 in Lake Shore Hospital, he was 76. Beloved husband of Patricia (Pfeffer) Backert. Loving father of Patricia (Steve) Dragovic, Frederick Backert Jr., Richard (Sharon) Backert, Meredith (Ken) Ruggiero and the late Karen Stearns. Brother of Ruth (Mike) Russell, Virginia Tobin, William, Michael, Daniel and Barbara Backert. Also survived by 12 grand and 2 great grandchildren. Friends may call Friday from 5PM - 8PM at the ADDISON FUNERAL HOME, INC. 262 N. Main St. Angola, where funeral services will follow visitation at 8PM. Pastor Jack Bacon, Officiating.
