Jack may have been boisterous and blustery when he addressed issues that affected Lake Shore. However, when it was decision time the students of Lake Shore benefitted from his passion, work ethic and wisdom. What he and Bill Houston did at Lake Shoreis unparalleled in Western New York School Districts. I appreciated his advice, his support and his friendship. Romaine and I were the beneficiaries of many teachers, administrators and, in this case, board member, who shed light on how we should live our lives. Thank you, Jack! Thank you, Ann!

Mr Geidel was a very good man. He was at our high school baseball games and he gave me a job as a stockboy at his Bells Supermarket store. He also personally handed me my high school diploma. He will be greatly missed by all.
