Laurel S. Gates, of Collins, NY, passed away Wednesday, August 27, 2014 in Buffao Mercy Hospital, she was 71. Beloved wife of Earle W. "Buster" Gates. Loving mother of Emily (Kip) Wills of Meridian, Idaho; grandmother of Courtney, Nicholas, Zachary and Shelby Wills all of Meridian, Idaho. Daughter of the late Nephi Pratt Smith and Laura Peterson. Sister of Janet Smith and the late Carolyn (Frank) McNeil and Bruce (Ruth) Smith. Funeral services will be held Friday, September 12, 2014 at 7 PM in the Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints Chapel, 1424 Maple Rd. Williamsville, NY.
